It describes our services and products and allows you to contact us, apply for advertised roles and chat with our team during published hours.

Information on this site

We take care to keep the content of this site accurate and current, but it is provided for general information. Nothing on this site is a binding offer, a quotation, or professional advice for your specific circumstances. Service scope, deliverables, standards and pricing are set out in a written proposal and agreement, and those documents prevail over anything published here.

Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, its servers, or connected systems.
  • Do not submit content through our forms or chat that is unlawful, abusive, or infringes someone else's rights.
  • Do not scrape, mirror or systematically extract content without our written permission.

Job applications

Advertising a role is not an offer of employment. Submitting an application does not create any obligation on our part to interview, respond within a specified time, or make an offer. We may close or amend a listing at any time.

Live chat

Chat is available during the hours published on the site and is staffed by our customer care team. Do not send confidential information, credentials or payment details through chat. Chat conversations are recorded for quality and analysis.

QCoin wallet

A summary follows. The full terms are set out in our QCoin Payment Policy, and how we handle your information is covered by the QCoin Wallet Privacy Notice. Where those documents and this section differ on a wallet question, those documents govern.

QCoins are prepaid credit for services supplied by QDesk Data Solution and Services. They are not money, not a deposit, not an investment, and not electronic money as defined under any payment-services regime. Buying QCoins is a prepayment for our services and nothing else.

  • Value. One QCoin is worth one United States dollar for the purpose of pricing our services. That rate is fixed and does not vary with exchange rates.
  • Purchase. QCoins are bought through our payment processors in multiples of five, subject to the minimum and maximum shown at the point of purchase. We do not see or store your card details.
  • One-way conversion. QCoins cannot be converted back into US dollars, into the currency you paid with, or into any other currency. They cannot be withdrawn, transferred to another account, redeemed for cash, or paid out to a card, bank account or payment wallet. Their only use is to pay for services supplied by us.
  • No expiry. QCoins do not expire, do not lose value over time, and are not subject to any dormancy, inactivity or maintenance fee. An unused balance remains available indefinitely while your account is open.
  • When they are spent. QCoins are deducted only when an order is approved — either by you, or by one of our QC Experts confirming, after your review window has closed and you have not responded, that the work was carried out correctly. The amount deducted is the hours logged multiplied by the published hourly rate for that task type. Nothing is deducted while work is in progress.
  • Delivery and balance. Delivered work is released to you once your balance covers the amount due for the hours logged. Your balance is not reduced at that point; it is reduced on approval.
  • Guarantee. Where work has been charged and, in our judgement or by agreement with you, should not have been, we return the amount charged to your wallet as QCoins and record the reason on the order. Because of the one-way conversion above, any such return is a credit of QCoins to your wallet and is not a refund of currency to your payment method.
  • Statutory rights. Nothing in this section removes or limits any right you have under consumer or payment-services law that cannot be excluded by agreement. Where such a law requires a refund in currency, that law prevails over this section.
  • Account closure. If you close your account, or we close it for a breach of these terms, any remaining QCoin balance is forfeited, save where the law provides otherwise. Tell us before closing an account with a balance and we will help you use it.

Please buy QCoins only for work you intend to have carried out. If you are unsure how much you need, top up the smallest amount that covers the job in front of you.

Orders, review and moderation

An order is worked by an Operations Manager and billed by the hour at the rate published for its task type at the time of first submission. When work is delivered you have three days to approve it or to return it with written feedback for rework. If you do not respond within that period, the delivery is reviewed by a QC Expert who did not carry out the work; if they confirm the work was done correctly, the logged hours are charged, and if they do not, the order returns for rework and nothing is charged. No order is ever approved or charged automatically by the passage of time alone.

Confidentiality of your identity

Our operational staff work on pseudonymised accounts. The Operations Manager working your order and the QC Expert moderating it are shown an internal codename rather than your name or email address, and your identity and wallet balance are not made available to them. Only administrators can connect a codename to an account, and such access is logged.

Intellectual property

The content, layout, graphics, and code of this website, together with the QDesk name and the eSchoolPortal and eResBooking product names, are our property or used with permission. You may view and print pages for your own reference. Any other reproduction requires our written consent. Images published on the blog that carry a credit line remain subject to the licence stated in that credit.

Where we link to another website, we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

Availability and liability

We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction.
